Experiment summary
The study is an analysis of genetic associations for diameter of the aorta, which is linked to predisposition for aortic dissection. A deep learning model was trained to evaluate aortic images and was then applied to images for 33,420 individuals in the UK Biobank population to measure the diameter of the ascending and descending aorta.
