Project
GoDARTS (Genetics of Diabetes Audit and Research Study in Tayside Scotland) recruits consented T2D patients and matching controls from the region of Tayside, Scotland. Electronic medical record information, including lab values, is available for these participants.
Experiment summary
The Metabochip V2 dataset contains 3,360 T2D subjects and 3,759 controls. Samples were genotyped using the Metabochip V2 chip. Phenotypes were normalised using inverse rank-based normalisation on the residuals of a linear model adjusting for age, sex, and 4 Principal Components. The top 10 Principal Components were used as covariates in this analysis.
