The Human Genetics Amplifier is a software platform and ecosystem of interconnected web portals that integrate, interpret, and present human genetic and genomic data to spark insights into complex diseases.

The Knowledge Portals:

  • aggregate comprehensive data relevant to diseases and traits;

  • harmonize and analyze the data;

  • represent the data in a way that helps researchers to distill meaning from them; and

  • provide interactive tools for custom analyses that access individual-level data in a secure manner.

We welcome new collaborations. Please contact us at

What's new

Results from a paper published today on intracranial aneurysm are now available in the Cerebrovascular Disease and Common Metabolic Diseases Knowledge Portals. Mark Bakker and colleagues performed a cross-ancestry study of more than 315,000 individuals for genetic associations with intracranial aneurysms, both ruptured and unruptured.

Please note that interfaces on the Knowledge Portals that use the LocusZoom software, including the Genomic Region Miner on Region pages and the PheWAS and forest plots on Variant pages, may be unavailable at times between 5:30pm and 8:30pm EST on Friday November 13 while system upgrades are being performed. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Join our webinar this Thursday, Nov. 12, at noon EST! We'll cover the official launch of the CMDKP and demonstrate our newest portal covering musculoskeletal diseases and traits.
