Experiment summary

This study analyzed genetic associations with peripheral artery disease (PAD), defined as atherosclerotic vascular disease affecting the lower limbs and ascertained using clinical measures, in 12, 086 PAD cases and 449, 548 controls. The authors performed an overall analysis and analyses stratified by type 2 diabetes and smoking status.
