Experiment summary

This study analyzed genetic associations for chronotype among 8,433 Finns. Chronotype was assessed with a shortened version of Horne and Östberg’s Morningness-Eveningness Questionnaire (sMEQ). Three analyses were performed: 1) analysis of the single self-evaluation question on chronotype as a binary variable; 2) the sum score of sMEQ questions analyzed as a binary variable (evening type: scores from 5 to 15, morning type: scores from 16 to 27); and 3) the sum score of sMEQ questions analyzed as a continuous variable.
