Circulating lipoprotein(a) [Lp(a)]concentration is a predictive biomarker of cardiovascular disease. In a new study (Dron, Wang, et al., 2021), researchers in Amit Khera's group performed a GWAS for Lp(a) levels and then used the results as input to develop a polygenic score for Lp(a) concentrations. The authors have generously shared their results, and the polygenic score file as well as the GWAS summary statistics are now available for download from both the Cardiovascular Disease Knowledge Portal and the Common Metabolic Diseases Knowledge Portal. We are pleased to offer open access to these data relevant to cardiovascular disease.
