Experiment summary
This dataset represents a meta-analysis of two Alzheimer’s disease (AD) association analyses. Phase 1 included 24,087 clinically diagnosed late-onset AD cases and 55,058 controls. Phase 2 included 47,793 cases of AD-by-proxy from the UK Biobank and 328,320 controls. AD-by-proxy is defined as individuals having one or two parents with AD; cases with two parents were given greater weight. AD-by-proxy controls had two parents without AD; subjects with older parents were given greater weight.
