Both summary-level and individual-level data were generated for the ICH GWAS 2014 dataset. Individual-level data are available for the GOCHA and ISGC European Centers subjects. Summary-level data are available for the full cohort.

Projects

Genetics of Cerebral Hemorrhage on Anticoagulation (GOCHA)

PIs: Devin Brown, Jennifer Majersik, James Meschia, Jonathan Rosand, Magdy Selim, Scott Silliman, David Tirschwell, Brad Worrall.
GWAS results for 316 ICH cases (184 lobar, 132 non-lobar) and 457 ICH-free controls recruited from multiple centers across the United States. Subjects were of European ancestry and aged >55 years.

Genetic and Environmental Risk Factors of Hemorrhagic Stroke (GERFHS) I, II

PI: Dan Woo.
GWAS results from 797 ICH cases (327 lobar, 470 non-lobar) and 539 ICH-free controls of European and African-American descent, aged >18 years, recruited from the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky region.

ISGC European Centers

GWAS results from 482 ICH cases (175 lobar, 307 nonlobar) and 485 ICH-free controls. Because of their limited sample sizes, data from the four European studies were analyzed together for the purposes of quality control, imputation, and association testing. Data were provided by the following sites:

  • Hospital del Mar ICH Study (HM-ICH)
PI: Jaume Roquer. 109 cases and 79 controls.
  • Jagiellonian University Hemorrhagic Stroke Study (JUHSS)
PI: Agnieszka Slowik. 131 cases and 163 controls.
  • Lund Stroke Register
PI: Arne Lindgren. 130 cases and 153 controls.
  • Vall d'Hebron Hospital ICH Study (VHH-ICH)
PI: Joan Montaner. 112 cases and 90 controls.
