Experiment summary

This study performed a genome-wide association analysis of lumbar disc herniation in 80724 cases and 748975 controls from a European cohort across three large biobanks (FinnGen, Estonian Biobank, UK Biobank) and performed a meta-analysis combining results, identifying multiple associated loci and expanding the genetic architecture of disc herniation.
