Experiment summary
This study performed cross-ancestry GWAS aggregation using 90065 schizophrenia cases and 483788 controls and gene-level analyses to prioritize causal genes for schizophrenia and nominate therapeutic targets. Integrative evidence across multiple analytic layers highlighted genes (e.g., ACE, CNNM2, SNAP91, ABCB9, GATAD2A) and suggested repurposable targets (e.g., ACE, CA14, MAPK3, MAPT) for translational follow-up.
