This East Asian ancestry GWAS meta-analysis across 15 biobanks included 9715 cases and 260245 controls and identified 17 novel POAG loci—including five ancestry-specific signals—and implicated vascular, cell-proliferation, and cilia-related pathways; sex-specific associations were also observed.
