This European ancestry GWAS meta-analysis across 15 biobanks included 16355 cases and 1156544 controls and identified 17 novel POAG loci—including five ancestry-specific signals—and implicated vascular, cell-proliferation, and cilia-related pathways; sex-specific associations were also observed.
