Experiment summary

This genome-wide meta-analysis of myasthenia gravis included 5,708 cases and 432,028 controls of European ancestry with replication in 3,989 cases and 226,643 controls (23andMe), identifying 12 independent signals across 11 loci and demonstrating subtype-specific associations for early- and late-onset MG, as well as potential for polygenic prediction.
