Project
GoDARTS (Genetics of Diabetes Audit and Research Study in Tayside Scotland) recruits consented T2D patients and matching controls from the region of Tayside, Scotland. Electronic medical record information, including lab values, is available for these participants.
Experiment summary
The GoDarts Illumina HumanOMNIExpress chip dataset contains 2,902 T2D subjects. Samples were genotyped using the Illumina HumanOMNIExpress chip and imputed to HRC reference. Phenotypes were normalised using inverse rank-based normalisation on the residuals of a linear model adjusting for age, sex, and 4 Principal Components. The top 10 Principal Components were used as covariates in this analysis.
