Project
The Chronic Kidney Disease Genetics Consortium (CKDGen) is a consortium of researchers investigating genetic loci associated with kidney function and disease.
Experiment summary
This study is a meta-analysis of genome-wide association studies for serum urate levels in subjects of European ancestry. Elevated levels of serum urate are associated with gout, kidney stones, and cardiometabolic traits and diseases.
A trans-ethnic meta-analysis that includes these samples is available in the portal as a separate dataset, CKDGen serum urate GWAS.
