Project

The ADIPOGen Consortium seeks to discover the common genetic contribution to circulating levels of adiponectin, a hormone produced predominantly by adipocytes whose levels are inversely associated with type 2 diabetes and other metabolic traits.

Experiment summary

ADIPOGen GWAS is a meta-analysis of GWAS summary statistics for genetic associations with adiponectin levels in individuals from 26 European ancestry cohorts and 7 non-European ancestry cohorts.
